Business Intelligence Analyst

Description:

Manulife is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Global Technology Strategy team in Toronto. This role provides a unique opportunity to influence enterprise strategy through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. As a key contributor, the analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams and executives to provide impactful dashboards, reports, and data strategies that drive smarter and more efficient business outcomes across technology, finance, procurement, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports using Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Planview, ensuring actionable and accurate insights.

• Lead process automation and analytics workflow improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define critical business metrics, scope analytics projects, and align strategies with business goals.

• Apply advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to uncover trends and support business planning.

• Present clear and compelling data stories to senior leadership, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in data analytics, BI, or technology strategy with strong executive-level data presentation skills.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience using Power BI, SQL, Excel, JIRA, and Planview.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Knowledge of enterprise data environments, ETL processes, and executive reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in analytics and/or project management.
