Business Development Associate

Description:

We are hiring one Business Development Associate to lead our institutional partnership effort in Winnipeg. You will coordinate a team of three on-ground Product Sales Representatives and personally manage SFK's key relationships with hospitals, senior care homes, clinics, fitness centres, schools, and community organisations.

This is a remote, flexible, coordination role. No fixed office hours. No minimum time commitment. You are measured by results — the quality and growth of the institutional partnerships SFK builds in Winnipeg.

What You Will Do

- Coordinate, train, and guide three on-ground Product Sales Representatives

- Set weekly meeting and agreement targets for the team

- Review and verify team activity reports and signed partnership agreements

- Personally attend senior-level institutional meetings where a manager-level representative is required

- Maintain active relationships with signed institutional partners

- Keep the live pipeline tracker updated and report weekly to the Founder

- Ensure SFK is represented professionally and consistently in every institutional interaction

What You Bring

- Based in Winnipeg with strong knowledge of the local institutional landscape — healthcare, senior care, education, or fitness sectors

- Experience coordinating a small team or managing a field operation

- Confident communicating with senior contacts — Directors, Administrators, Department Heads

- Highly organised and self-directed — you do not need daily supervision to stay on track

- Strong written communication — your messages represent SFK

- Genuine belief in SFK's mission around health, food access, and community

Preferred

- Existing relationships within Winnipeg's healthcare, senior care, educational, or fitness institutions

- Experience in business development, community partnerships, or institutional outreach

- Familiarity with how referral decisions are made in Canadian hospitals, care homes, or schools

- Experience working in an early-stage or startup environment

Compensation
