Associate Producer

Description:

Reporting to the Senior Producer, the successful candidate will have experience that demonstrates exceptional editorial skills and professionalism. You have:

• A track record of producing compelling television and digital journalism
• The vision to build engaging and exciting newscasts
• A history of successful newsroom collaboration

Mandatory Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years newsroom experience
• Journalism Diploma or Degree
• Excellent news writing ability and copyediting experience
• Other duties as required

Desired Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Lower Mainland and British Columbia current affairs
• Experience using INews
• Experience with Content Management Systems including Polopoly
• Adobe desktop video editing and Photoshop ability
