The Analyst Intern is a hands-on and dynamic role, working within our proprietary due diligence program to get companies “investment ready”. The successful applicant will work closely with our Associates, our clients and the investment community. As Analyst Intern, you bring a creative mindset, willingness to learn, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment. Repeated days are few and far between. Reporting to the Vice President, this position is a full-time, in-person contract for 4 months.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Implement our proprietary programs into our clients’ businesses to get them investment ready and improve the likelihood of them securing capital to catalyze growth and reach their full potential
- Build and articulate quantitative and qualitative analysis on different aspects of client companies and their respective markets, in verbal and written form with team members and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain financial models
- Work with clients to manage deliverable workflows and applicable timelines
- Create and deliver materials used for fundraising for our clients and the investment community
Required Competencies:
- Strong business acumen, work ethic, and attention to detail are a necessity
- Strong knowledge of financial statements
- Savvy with computers, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly skilled in conducting meaningful research
- Self-starter with a knack for problem-solving
- Punctual at meeting deliverables and managing time
- Thoughtful, with the ability to generate and share ideas that can improve the company
- Agile and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum third-year university student, with a preference to those pursuing a business degree.
