Description:

The Analyst reports to the Local Director of Operations. The Analyst is responsible for supporting the development of team output and data collection. Specifically, this position provides support for gathering and entering data for real estate transactions into databases. The Analyst is accountable for accurate and proactive maintenance of databases, as well as pulling data from systems to support the business’s needs.

  • Perform primary research on buildings that are built, under construction, proposed or under renovation
  • Call and/or inquire on available properties, update proprietary database as applicable
  • Track new construction, renovations, and completions, leases and sales, tenant movements (tenants in the market), direct and sublet space, etc.
  • Update teams exclusive listings on a monthly basis
  • Collect, maintain and review articles relevant from all Real Estate sources for database implementation and market knowledge
  • Gathers and formats information for reporting requests
  • Follows up on availability, lease and sale surveys
  • Assists in creating and populating photo database where applicable
  • Physically canvas and phone canvas buildings in order to populate tenant database and derive stacking plans where applicable
     

Job Requirements
 

  • 4-year college degree in computer science, information technology/system or related field preferred
  • Professional Corporate Experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence tool
  • Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comprehension of enterprise applications and business processes
  • Ability to find solutions to business problems from data-driven insights
  • Strong working knowledge of data management best practices and experience implementing and maintaining them
  • Proven ability determining business needs and developing technical requirements
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and to draw valid conclusions
  • Solid business judgment, collaboration, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to be able to explain technical concepts and procedures to non-technical users
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills are required
