Ai Agent Developer

Description:

Geotab is seeking a talented AI Agent Developer to lead and grow their AI Agent Centre of Excellence (CoE). You will play a critical role in identifying internal business problems and building AI agents that provide measurable ROI, operational efficiency, and strategic impact. You will collaborate closely with the GenAI team and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate AI into real-world enterprise processes.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Agent CoE Development

• Develop internal CoE vision, strategy, and best practices for AI agent development

• Establish governance frameworks and operational models

• Set KPIs for agent success (e.g., cost/time savings)

Use Case Identification & Prioritization

• Engage with business units to discover automation opportunities

• Analyze feasibility and prioritize high-impact agent use cases

Development & Deployment

• Lead agent design, prototyping, and deployment

• Ensure compliance with data governance, legal, and security policies

• Collaborate with platform and GenAI teams

Evangelism & Internal Community Building

• Act as SME and internal advocate for AI agents

• Build developer community and share reusable tools/components

• Conduct workshops, demos, and training

Technology & Tools

• Stay up-to-date with AI/LLM tools, platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Recommend scalable cloud solutions and toolchains

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related (Master’s preferred)

• Deep experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Llama), AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering

• Strong Python coding skills (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, LangChain, AutoGen, etc.)

• Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD, Git, cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Ability to lead projects and communicate technical ideas to diverse audiences

• Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving skills
