Advertising Sales Representative

As an Advertising Sales Representative for Build&Digest Magazine, you are the first point of contact for our prospective clients. We will supply you with a territory and list. Your job is to reach out to prospects, explain our value offer and sign them up if they express interest. The sales cycle is short, simple and straightforward and we will provide you will all the training you need to be successful.

This position is remote, so you must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and pitch advertising opportunities to businesses and organizations.
• Utilize digital tools, industry databases, and market research to build a robust pipeline of high-quality leads. Manage client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up.
• Input and maintain sales activity, orders and notes in the CRM system.
• Coordinate advertising materials and deadlines with clients and production team.
• Track sales progress and contribute to forecasting and budget goals.
• Maintain advertiser lists and comp issue distribution.
• Collaborate with management on sales strategy, special projects and seasonal campaigns

Qualifications

• 2+ year’s experience in advertising, media, sales or business development
• Excellent communication, persuasion and customer service skills
• Organized, self-motivated and able to manage multiple relationships and tasks
• Comfortable working remotely with digital tools (CRM, email, spreadsheets)
