Accounts Payable Administrator



We are hiring an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our corporate team in Toronto. This position reports directly to the Senior Accountant and is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, bookkeeping, processing cheques and EFT payments, reconciling credit transactions and general accounting duties.

Job Description

  • Process accounts payable invoices while ensuring accurate coding and approvals
  • Process bi-weekly cheque runs (print cheques, obtain signatures, distribute cheque, schedule EFT payments)
  • Reconcile credit card charges and receipts
  • Assist in the resolution of payables disputes and inquiries



  • Post-secondary education with accounting concentration
  • One (1) year experience in an accounting capacity or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
  • Experience in processing payable transactions
  • Bookkeeping/full-cycle accounting experience is an asset
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is an asset
