Accountant

Quantum Management Services Ltd. is hiring an Accountant for a reputable investment firm located in downtown Montreal. This is a hybrid, full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel, with previous experience preparing financial statements and handling fund-related transactions. A background in investment, private equity, or fund accounting is a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly financial statements for a major investment fund

• Process and track fund transactions

• Prepare capital call requests

• Record journal entries

• Participate in year-end closing and audit processes

• Analyze quarterly financial statements of managed funds and update internal databases

• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly reports

• Support the processing of portfolio fund operations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, certificate, DEC, or AEC in accounting

• Proven experience in financial statement preparation

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in investment, private equity, or fund accounting (asset but not mandatory)
