Account Executive

 

Description:

Motive, a leading provider of AI-driven solutions for physical operations management, is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive (New Business) to drive new business across Canada. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven sales professional with experience in SaaS, capable of owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of Motive’s fastest-growing segment, with potential advancement into Upper Mid-Market, Enterprise sales, or leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business acquisition, meeting or exceeding monthly revenue quotas.

  • Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, presentations, negotiations, and closing.

  • Execute outbound lead generation, cold calling, and strategic outreach to meet KPI targets.

  • Lead product demos, trials, and consultative discussions to understand customer challenges and goals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Account Management.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and maintain detailed records of pipeline activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in SaaS sales (required).

  • At least 2 years of full-cycle sales experience with a proven track record of quota attainment.

  • Must reside in or near Toronto, ON.

  • Experience working with Sales Engineers and SDRs; trial-based sales experience is an asset.

  • Strong initiative, ownership mentality, and a proactive, results-oriented approach.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning and development.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • On-target earnings: CAD 144300 – 200000 (base + commission)
