Account Executive

 

Description:

The account executive role is responsible and accountable to reach agreed upon sales targets, develop and manage client relationships with senior level decision makers, day-to-day management of lead generation, negotiations and sales closing and participate in the development of the sales and marketing plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify new client relationship opportunities by self-researching business and project specific opportunism.
  • Make contact with new and existing opportunities, target appropriate decision makers within the organization, and successfully obtain meetings / demo appointments.
  • Successfully demo and show the value of our products and how they align with the opportunities pain points.
  • Successfully negotiate and obtain client commitment to support Aareas.
  • Nurture and manage strong business relationships with all new customers.
  • Implement strategic plans that grow revenues and increase market share.
  • Find innovative contracting solutions to complex issues and or accounts.
  • Liaise with internal team to support company objectives and bring forward customer feedback and recommend product enhancing solutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate university degree in business, marketing, or similar fields – Or equivalent experience with a proven track record.
  • Prior professional experience in the real estate, software sales, marketing, new media, advertising, or related fields of business would be an asset.
  • Prior experience in the software sales, SaaS, internet, computer based products and services is a bonus
  • A strong understanding of High value, long cycle B2B sales
  • Experience in New Home Industry with contact with Builders and developers is a must

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and listening
  • Ability to work within tight time deadlines to complete a project
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Possesses a passion and comfort with information technology and its evolving role in the New Economy
