Account Director

Description:

McCann Canada is seeking an experienced Account Director to join their Toronto team. The role focuses on supporting major global and Canadian brands in developing best-in-class marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. The Account Director will independently lead initiatives, manage client relationships, and provide strategic brand guidance while collaborating with creative, strategy, and production teams to deliver impactful campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client accounts across multiple integrated touchpoints, driving innovative creative deliverables.

• Support brand planning and strategic decision-making for clients in competitive, fast-paced markets.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agency teams across disciplines.

• Advocate for clients and coach account teams to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.

• Integrate cross-functional expertise to deliver cohesive solutions aligned with client objectives.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant marketing experience.

• 2+ years in an Account Director role preferred.

• Proven experience managing high-touch clients in complex organizations.

• Strong track record in fast-paced, competitive industries.

• Skilled at leading multi-disciplinary teams, prioritizing, delegating, and managing multiple accounts/projects efficiently.

• Organized, resourceful, and capable of building effective client relationships.
