Yard Associate

Description:

SiteOne Landscape Supply, the largest national distributor of landscaping products across the United States and Canada, is seeking a Seasonal Yard Associate for their Edmonton, AB location. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team supporting the organization, movement, and delivery of landscaping materials essential to green industry professionals.

As a Yard Associate, you will play a pivotal role in achieving world-class performance standards by handling inventory, assisting customers, and supporting logistics operations. Whether it’s loading outbound deliveries or helping customers find the right products, you’ll be a valued part of a team that helps professionals design and maintain exceptional outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely unload incoming trucks and organize materials

• Load outbound vehicles, including company trucks and customer vehicles

• Replenish inventory and move products within the yard and branch

• Support customers in product selection and provide hands-on assistance when needed

• Collaborate with leadership to implement new tools and technologies aimed at improving performance

• Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations and efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently

• Safety-oriented with a proactive work ethic

• Customer-focused with a team-player attitude

• Willingness to learn and embrace new technology

• Preferred:

  • Prior experience in landscaping, nursery, irrigation, or related green industries

  • Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, or front-end loaders

  • High school diploma or equivalent
