Description:

Canada Life, a leading insurer and financial services provider in Canada, is actively seeking a Workplace Wealth Consultant to join its Freedom Experience team in Charlottetown, PE. This dynamic and client-facing role focuses on delivering tailored investment advice and financial guidance to group retirement plan members, directly at their workplaces. As a hybrid role, it blends remote engagement with on-site visits to build strong relationships and retain client assets within Canada Life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support plan members during enrollment by explaining group retirement plan details, contribution strategies, and fund transfers.

  • Offer personalized financial and investment advice aligned with each member’s portfolio and retirement goals.

  • Develop and maintain long-term member relationships through in-person, phone, email, and virtual channels.

  • Proactively engage with members considering fund withdrawals to understand concerns and propose suitable financial solutions.

  • Conduct educational sessions on retirement planning, investment options, and other financial topics.

  • Partner with internal teams to resolve client issues and continuously improve member satisfaction.

  • Lead initiatives to win back clients, prevent asset leakage, and enhance member retention.

  • Identify and present customized value-added services and planning solutions to improve overall loyalty and experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid life insurance license (LLQP)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, especially in investment advising or customer retention roles

  • Knowledge of pension, savings, and investment products

  • Reliability Status security clearance, required for accessing Protected B information (Government of Canada)

  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills

  • Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and relationship-building capabilities

  • Ability to travel across Canada as required

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CFP or CFA

  • Bilingual (French and English) – mandatory for roles serving Quebec clients

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: CAD 58600 – CAD 97700 annually (CAD 4883 – CAD 8141 monthly)

  • Additional Compensation: Commission and annual performance bonuses
