Workday Payroll Consultant

Description:

As a Workday Payroll Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering end-to-end payroll implementations as part of a broader Workday HCM transformation. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team of functional and technical consultants across HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Integrations, and Data Conversion to design and deploy scalable payroll solutions that align with client objectives.

On a typical day, you will:

  • Partner directly with client payroll, HR, and finance stakeholders to understand business requirements, legislative considerations, and operational processes.
  • Facilitate working sessions to design and configure Workday Payroll solutions that align with both business needs and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure payroll integrates seamlessly with Time, Absence, Benefits, and downstream financial systems.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and work closely with the Project Manager to escalate and resolve challenges while maintaining timeline integrity.

You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same — balancing system configuration, client advisory, troubleshooting, and strategic design discussions.

Occasional travel to client sites may be required depending on project needs.
