Raymond James Ltd., a leading independent investment dealer committed to providing top-tier financial and wealth management services across Canada, is seeking a Wealth Advisor Assistant to join their dynamic team in Vancouver, BC. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced financial environment. The successful candidate will play a critical part in supporting Financial Advisors and ensuring the smooth operation of client accounts and administrative functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support & Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong client relationships by handling incoming calls, addressing client inquiries, and providing timely follow-ups.

  • Administrative Management: Prepare, review, and process daily, monthly, and annual reports, correspondence, and documentation.

  • Account Operations: Manage new client account openings, handle head office correspondence, and process security transactions and transfers accurately.

  • Tax Season Coordination: Lead activities during the tax reporting period, collaborating with clients and tax professionals to provide required documentation, updates, and support.

  • Marketing & Events: Assist Financial Advisors in planning and coordinating marketing events, seminars, and client meetings to promote business growth.

  • Office Support: Maintain Financial Advisor files, oversee document accuracy, and perform general office duties to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the investment or wealth management industry.

  • Post-secondary education required.

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) preferred.

  • IR license or equivalent qualification considered an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Dataphile, Croesus, and FactSet is an advantage.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.

  • Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and strong customer service orientation.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
