Description:

Canon Canada is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouser to join its Hub operations in Mississauga, ON. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role is vital to ensuring smooth warehouse operations, accurate order fulfillment, safe equipment handling, and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

The Warehouser will be responsible for picking, verifying, packaging, shipping, and receiving products while maintaining high accuracy in matching item numbers, quantities, and shipping documents. The position also requires involvement in inventory cycle counts, return processing, and daily inspections of material handling equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, strappers, wrapping machines, and scales.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, basic technical knowledge, and the ability to meet daily warehouse deadlines. Employees are also expected to uphold environmental responsibility by properly managing recycling and waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and verify parts and products against item numbers and descriptions.

• Package and ship products, ensuring accuracy with shipping orders and bills of lading.

• Receive inbound shipments, verify quantities, inspect for damages, and document in the system.

• Participate in monthly and annual inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.

• Process returns by inspecting and restocking products.

• Conduct daily inspections on all MHE before operation.

• Maintain compliance with health and safety laws and company policies.

• Contribute to a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible workplace.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (no degree required).

• Minimal warehouse experience required.

• Forklift Certification considered an asset.

• Basic analytical, technical, and computer skills (RF scanner, WMS).

• Basic equipment operation knowledge (forklifts, strappers, wrapping machines, scales).

• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (on-site at Hub location).
