Videographer & Photographer

 

Description:

Filming/Photography

- Document daily camp life, including activities, evening programs, and special events.

- Capture camp-wide events such as plays, the All Day Program, and Sunday night sing-songs.

- Create footage that reflects the diversity of activities and the essence of the camp experience.

 

Editing:

- Produce high-quality, engaging videos that tell the story of camp life.

- Produce high-quality images for monthly slideshows, weekly social media postings, and website.

- Create weekly highlight reels to share with campers, parents, and staff.

- Develop promotional videos to showcase Camp White Pine's unique environment to prospective families.

- Responsible for uploading camp plays and other videos to YouTube during the summer.

 

Collaboration:

- Work as part of a media team, coordinating with the staff to plan projects.

- Work closely with the camp leadership team to plan and prioritize video projects.

- Coordinate with activity and section leaders to ensure coverage of key moments and events.

 

Technical Management:

- Maintain and manage video equipment provided by the camp.

- Organize and archive footage for easy access and use in future projects and for the office staff during the off-season.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

Proven experience in videography and video editing (portfolio required).

Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).

Strong storytelling skills and creativity.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Willingness to immerse yourself in the camp experience.

Able to adapt to a flexible schedule.
