Vice President Of Finance And Operations

Ve’ahavta, a recognized leader in the non-profit sector, is hiring a Vice President of Finance and Operations to drive financial strategy and operational excellence.

This role is vital to ensuring financial stability, operational efficiency, and strategic growth in alignment with the organization's mission of supporting marginalized communities. Reporting to the COO and working closely with the CEO, this role will oversee finance, accounting, facilities, and IT operations while leading a team of two direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Oversee monthly and annual financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and risk mitigation.

• Operational Strategy: Implement efficient accounting systems and controls, ensuring financial integrity.

• Systems & Integration: Enhance financial reporting mechanisms and integrate databases for streamlined operations.

• Board Collaboration: Present financial reports and strategies to Board committees and leadership teams.

• IT & Facilities Management: Oversee infrastructure, security, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔ CPA designation (preferred)
✔ 5+ years in a senior finance role (preferably in non-profits/charities)
✔ Strong IFRS and GAAP knowledge
✔ Expertise in QuickBooks, CRM databases, and financial systems
✔ Experience presenting to Boards & managing external relationships
✔ Strong leadership, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities
✔ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and drive process improvements
