Description:
TalentMinded Inc. is a forward-thinking organization recognized for helping companies build and scale exceptional talent acquisition programs. They are seeking an accomplished Vice President, Sales to take ownership of their revenue engine and lead the company through its next phase of growth and transformation.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President, Sales will be responsible for defining, executing, and scaling a unified sales strategy that aligns with the company’s broader vision. This leadership role requires a dynamic and entrepreneurial executive with deep experience in driving sales performance, structuring high-growth teams, and implementing scalable systems across multiple business lines.
This is a Toronto-based hybrid role, involving both remote work and in-office collaboration for leadership and strategy sessions.
Strategic Leadership:
Define and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy that unifies business lines and guides the organization from its current eight-figure ARR run rate toward a nine-figure scale.
Sales Growth & Performance:
Drive cross-sell and upsell initiatives across existing clients while expanding into new SMB and enterprise markets.
Team Building:
Recruit, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams equipped with tools, systems, and incentives to consistently exceed performance targets.
Operational Excellence:
Establish robust sales operations frameworks — including forecasting, quotas, compensation models, and CRM optimization — to ensure efficiency, accountability, and scalability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to build a unified go-to-market (GTM) motion, ensuring alignment across all revenue-driving activities.
Strategic Scaling:
Design a 12-month sales roadmap that includes enterprise ramp-up timelines, headcount scaling, and integration strategies for new products or acquired business units.
Executive Influence:
Represent sales leadership at the executive and board levels, providing strategic insights, influencing decisions, and maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
Market Expansion:
Identify new revenue opportunities, refine value propositions, and expand the company’s footprint across national and North American markets.
Proven success as a senior sales leader (VP or Director level) in a B2B or SaaS organization.
Demonstrated ability to scale revenue organizations nationally and unify teams under a single strategic vision.
Strong experience in structuring and optimizing sales operations, including CRM systems, compensation design, and forecasting.
History of leading sales organizations through rapid transformation, acquisitions, and integration phases.
Exceptional executive presence, communication, and presentation skills — with the ability to influence at the C-suite and board levels.
Deep understanding of data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
