Klick Health, one of the fastest-growing healthcare agencies in North America, is seeking a Vice President, Data Solutions to spearhead the design, development, and execution of data-driven strategies across its healthcare and pharmaceutical client base. This senior leadership role requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly bridge data science, data engineering, and applied business strategy, turning complex data into actionable intelligence that drives measurable impact for clients.

The VP will play a critical role in leading teams, shaping innovative solutions, and partnering with top-tier pharmaceutical and healthcare stakeholders. The position combines strategic oversight, product development, team mentorship, and direct client engagement—making it ideal for a seasoned professional fluent in both technical data environments and executive-level communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Serve as the senior-most data authority on new business opportunities.

• Translate complex healthcare and pharma data into market-shaping strategies.

• Define and optimize the use of data assets (claims, EMR, digital behavior, formulary, access data) to enhance targeting, messaging, and experience design.

Solutions & Productization

• Develop modular analytics solutions for core commercial use cases (HCP segmentation, patient journey analytics, omnichannel ROI).

• Oversee the creation of reusable SQL/PySpark pipelines, dashboards, and custom data tools.

• Implement and enforce best-in-class practices in data quality, governance, documentation, and reproducibility.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of data scientists and engineers.

• Establish staffing plans, priorities, and resource allocation across projects and R&D.

• Partner with senior leadership (SVP Data Solutions) on departmental strategy, talent acquisition, and team culture development.

Client & Business Development

• Act as the data lead in pitches, collaborating with creative and strategy teams to build compelling, insight-driven presentations.

• Identify new client opportunities through emerging data sources, methodologies, and technologies.

• Present confidently and persuasively to C-level executives and other senior stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.

• 10+ years of professional experience in healthcare/pharma data strategy, analytics, or consulting.

• 5+ years of leadership and team management experience.

• Deep expertise in U.S. healthcare data (claims, EMR, IQVIA, MMIT, Symphony, Komodo, etc.).

• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance design, payers, and patient access dynamics.

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift.

• Familiarity with Python, PySpark, dbt, Airflow, or similar frameworks.

• Proven ability to balance technical expertise with executive-level communication.

• Strong presence in client-facing settings, with excellent storytelling and presentation skills.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience applying AI/ML techniques to healthcare marketing, targeting, or journey prediction.

• Familiarity with MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) approval processes within pharma.
