Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality technical support in animal care, assisting veterinarians in diagnostics, surgery, and treatment procedures.

• Administer medications, anesthesia, and vaccinations, ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients.

• Perform laboratory tests, radiographs, and other diagnostic procedures with precision and accuracy.

• Monitor and care for animals before, during, and after surgical and medical procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient records and support client education regarding pet health and treatment plans.

• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient, compassionate, and top-tier care.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma in Animal Health Technology or Veterinary Technology from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as an RVT in a veterinary clinic.

• Active registration and good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory association.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members.

• High level of technical proficiency and confidence in clinical tasks.

• Enthusiastic, positive, and adaptable attitude, with the ability to handle challenges effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and a passion for teamwork and patient care excellence.
