VetStrategy invites passionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) to join Petworks Veterinary Hospital in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Provide high-quality technical support in animal care, assisting veterinarians in diagnostics, surgery, and treatment procedures.
Administer medications, anesthesia, and vaccinations, ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients.
Perform laboratory tests, radiographs, and other diagnostic procedures with precision and accuracy.
Monitor and care for animals before, during, and after surgical and medical procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and support client education regarding pet health and treatment plans.
Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient, compassionate, and top-tier care.
Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.
Diploma in Animal Health Technology or Veterinary Technology from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3 years of experience working as an RVT in a veterinary clinic.
Active registration and good standing with the relevant provincial regulatory association.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members.
High level of technical proficiency and confidence in clinical tasks.
Enthusiastic, positive, and adaptable attitude, with the ability to handle challenges effectively.
Strong organizational skills and a passion for teamwork and patient care excellence.
