Westview Veterinary Hospital, a well-established AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Powell River, British Columbia, is seeking a full-time Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join their growing team. The hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory diagnostics, endoscopy, and surgical capabilities including orthopedic procedures. The current team consists of five veterinarians, six RVTs, and a skilled support staff, all of whom work collaboratively to provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients.

As an RVT at Westview Veterinary Hospital, you will be involved in a wide range of hands-on responsibilities, ensuring that you play an essential role in patient care and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and monitoring of patients for surgical procedures

• Assistance in both general and orthopedic surgeries

• Performing dental cleanings and obtaining dental radiographs

• Providing wound care and administering fluid therapy

• Conducting radiology and collecting diagnostic samples

• Delivering emergency care services when required

• Offering patient nursing and client education
