University Co-op - Business Analyst

Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Co-op Student Intern to join our team as a Business Analyst. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry while working on projects related to Operations and Transformation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for documenting business requirements, detailed processes, and user stories by working closely with both Operations and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

• Assist in gathering and analyzing detailed business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders.
• Participate in stakeholder interviews, workshops, and focus groups to understand business processes and objectives.
• Contribute to the documentation of business requirements using standard templates.
• Assist in prioritizing requirements based on business value and feasibility.

Process Improvement:

• Support the evaluation and alignment of existing processes with TM Forum standard processes.
• Assist in documenting new processes specific to Operations, aligned with the ServiceNow Order Management module.
• Contribute to process mapping and analysis to identify areas for optimization.
• Assist in the development of comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flows.

Solution Design and Implementation:

• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Contribute to the development of user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
• Participate in sprint planning and grooming sessions to refine user stories.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
