MSC Industrial Supply Co., a leading North American distributor of metalworking and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join its growing team in Hamilton, Ontario. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across a defined territory by developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical expertise in metal cutting and metrology solutions. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong technical background and proven sales acumen.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed territory revenue goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within metal cutting and metrology markets.
Build and maintain relationships with users, influencers, and decision-makers across multiple departments within client organizations.
Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and suppliers to deliver customized, value-driven solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical presentations for customers and internal teams.
Utilize data and industry benchmarks to reshape customer perspectives and introduce innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Track sales performance through CRM systems, maintain accurate sales pipelines, and submit progress reports.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate customer needs.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
Represent MSC at trade shows, seminars, and customer events.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and service delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3–5 years of proven sales experience in industrial tools, metal cutting, or metrology.
Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining, measurement technologies, and major cutting tool brands (e.g., Sandvik Coromant, Kennametal, Seco, Iscar, Walter, Mitutoyo).
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within the assigned territory (up to 70%, non-overnight).
Competitive base salary ranging from CAD 4750 – 5750 per month.
Commission and car allowance provided.
