Description:
We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Terminal Leasing Coordinator in the Commercial Services Department. Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Services, the successful candidate will support lease administration and the day-to-day management of the non-concession terminal real estate portfolio.
This role works closely with tenants and internal stakeholders to coordinate lease activities, manage space transitions, ensure operational compliance, and support leasing processes across the terminal.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of leased spaces, including property tax reporting and compliance tracking.
- Coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs, including key access, inspections, and restoration requirements.
- Support leasing activities by coordinating site tours and facilitating access for prospective tenants.
- Monitor leased premises to ensure compliance with lease standards and proper space utilization.
- Liaise with internal teams (Maintenance, Operations, Legal) to resolve tenant issues and support day-to-day operations.
- Assist with property upgrades, contractor coordination, and preparation of spaces for new tenants.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and troubleshoot operational issues in a timely manner.
- Support documentation processes, including lease administration and coordination with Legal Services.
Key Qualifications Include
- 2 years’ recent, related experience in property administration, supplemented by a two-to-three-year certificate or diploma in Business, Property Management or Real Estate (preferred) or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Knowledge of lease agreements and property management processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with property management systems (e.g., Yardi) is an asset.
- Ability to review and interpret legal documentation and contracts.
