Temporary Packaging Operator

Description:

Labatt Breweries of Canada, one of the country’s most iconic brewers with over 175 years of history, is seeking Temporary Packaging Operators to join its production team in London, Ontario. This role involves operating and monitoring high-speed packaging equipment, performing quality control checks, and ensuring smooth production processes for some of Canada’s most well-known beverage brands including Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois, and Corona.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, comfortable with physical work, and eager to be part of a leading Canadian brewery known for innovation, heritage, and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor high-speed packaging machinery and equipment.

• Load supplies and raw materials into production machines.

• Record process data and monitor performance metrics.

• Perform quality control checks throughout the production process.

• Execute industrial cleaning and sanitation procedures.

• Drive forklift trucks as required.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by adhering to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

• Ability to engage in manual labor and physically demanding activities including prolonged standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending.

• Ability to work in enclosed and noisy environments with potential vibration exposure.

• Must be comfortable climbing ladders/stairs and working on slippery floors.

• Ability to operate motorized equipment.

• Willingness to work various shifts (Day: 7am–3pm, Evening: 3pm–11pm, Night: 11pm–7am).

• Must comply with all PPE requirements (safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, hearing protection).
