Technology Integration Architecture Consultant

Description:

• This contract opportunity is part of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and anticipated to start by end Ferbruary if we are the successful vendor.
• There is a preference for contractors located in or willing to travel to Quebec City, Qc, but we will consider resources anywhere in Canada for this opportunity. Candidates need to be bilingual (English/ French).
• This contract is a hybrid opportunity that will last 36 months (12 month renewable).

What you will do:

• Act as a respondent for business people to help them choose a technological solution;
• Provide leadership to management in the implementation and integration of new IT practices and directions;
• Support the software, solution and technology architect teams in various projects, including documentation review, design and implementation phases;
• Propose efficient technological solutions adapted to user needs and contribute to the evaluation of costs and deadlines for the design and delivery of solutions;
• Validate architectures and other deliverables;
• Ensure the integration of processing, data and technologies;
• Analyze, from an architectural point of view, the feasibility of the implementation of the analyzed solutions;
• Support the resources involved in the implementation phase;
• Clearly present vision and action, popularize and communicate IR content, and negotiate tradeoffs with business and IR stakeholders.
• Any other responsibilities that fall under this level of intervention.

Your qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a technology integration architect, within the last five (5) years
• mandates as a technology integration architecture consultant in one or more of the following contexts:
• Cloud computing (AWS)
• Extensive experience: IAC (Pulumi or Terraform - Python / TypeScript)
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Gitlab / CICD
• Microservices architecture
• Demonstrating based on the proposed resource's experience, training, certifications obtained, deliverables produced:
• Knowledge of technology integration architecture frameworks and market practices;
• Document writing skills;
• Communication skills by adapting presentations to the audience.
• Hold an undergraduate degree in computer science or in a discipline related to the profile and recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education. Equivalence according to government standards is accepted;
• Experience in Agile projects.
