In this pivotal role, you will serve as a technical reference for the repair and maintenance of printed circuit boards (RMR component). You will provide critical support to inspection technicians, lead operational improvements, ensure compliance with quality certifications, and help optimize CAE’s test systems and engineering workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and logistical support to inspection technicians in their daily operations.

  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) of the inspection technician team and recommend process improvements.

  • Maintain operational test stations, assess equipment needs, and ensure the smooth flow of repair operations.

  • Act as the main technical reference for the engineering department, assisting during testing phases and analyzing recurring repair issues.

  • Develop, test, and enhance automated test systems and diagnostic setups.

  • Collaborate with customer service teams for follow-ups, particularly on NFF (No Fault Found) cases.

  • Manage and execute material orders for the repair division, ensuring adequate supply levels.

  • Analyze component obsolescence and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Uphold and maintain quality certifications (ISO 9001 and AS9100) for the department.

  • Coordinate the implementation of new health and safety protocols to ensure workplace compliance and employee well-being.


Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Education: DEC in Electronics (minimum requirement).

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and servers.

    • Excellent understanding of Windows OS administration.

    • Familiarity with measurement and diagnostic instruments.

    • Knowledge of programming and automation systems.

    • Solid foundation in technical analysis, troubleshooting, and system testing.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

    • Strong communication skills in both French and English (verbal and written).

    • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and a structured approach to technical issues.

  • Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level).

  • Experience: Prior work experience at CAE is an advantage.
