Description:

Air Inuit, a leading Inuit-owned airline providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air services in Nunavik and beyond, is seeking TEA qualified “M” and/or apprentice engineers for contract positions with a rotational schedule. Air Inuit operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft, including De Havilland Twin Otter 300 Series and Boeing 737 variants, and employs more than 1,000 staff. The role is primarily night-based with rotations of 3 weeks, and the company provides accommodations, meals, and travel between Montreal and the worksite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance work on aircraft according to applicable control instructions, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and approved technical information.

  • Ensure all work is properly recorded and signed on relevant forms.

  • Guide and supervise apprentice engineers, ensuring approved methods and materials are used.

  • Maintain the OMA base facilities, including workshop, storage, library, and surrounding areas.

  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • TEA License category “M1” and/or “M2” or TEA apprentice with at least 3 years of experience.

  • Preferred experience with DHC8, Beech King Air, and DHC6 aircraft.

  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.

  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and in Northern work locations.
