Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for a 310S Technician located in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. The 310S Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing heavy equipment used in snow removal operations. Daily tasks include conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely to meet operational demands. Timely response to maintenance needs and attention to detail will be critical to the role.

Qualifications

• Skilled in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair to ensure optimal functioning of equipment.
• Experience with Heavy Equipment operations and servicing.
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive or equipment repair standards.
• 310S certification or applicable equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in outdoor, winter conditions and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on safety standards.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the snow management or heavy equipment industry is an asset.
