Description:
The Director of Product Marketing (Casual) leads marketing strategy and execution for Zynga’s Casual Games portfolio, including Words with Friends, Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, and upcoming unannounced projects. Embedded within the studio, the role integrates marketing into product development, collaborates deeply with cross-functional teams, and acts as the primary marketing voice guiding creative, UA, lifecycle marketing, ASO, and community functions. Responsible for building strategies, launching campaigns, driving live operations marketing, and leading a team.
Build end-to-end marketing and channel strategies aligned with product roadmap and development stages
Develop and execute marketing-led campaigns across TV, podcast, influencer, and earned media channels
Drive live-ops marketing to support weekly and monthly engagement goals
Build experimentation frameworks, best practices, and engagement playbooks
Collaborate with Product Leadership, Analytics, and Finance on marketing performance and forecasting
Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports and broader cross-functional teams
Integrate marketing needs into product strategy and represent the product to internal functions
Support the launch of new features, content, and game updates
8–10 years of hands-on product marketing experience, specifically in Casual Mobile Games
Experience with traditional + digital media buying: TV, podcasts, influencers
Live operations marketing experience supporting full product development lifecycle
Strong background working with performance marketing, UA teams, creative teams, and KPIs
Experience with test/learn strategies and growth experimentation
Ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple marketing and development teams
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
Deep understanding of mobile gaming consumer behavior
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Highly collaborative, analytical, and data-driven
Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders
Comfortable working in fast-paced, creative, and dynamic environments
Must work onsite as required by workplace policy
Must be able to collaborate across global teams
