Description:
Destination Canada is actively seeking a Technical Project Manager, Enterprise Systems to lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key enterprise-wide technology projects. This is a hybrid, full-time, 3-year term role based in Vancouver, within the Technology and Digital Transformation Department.
The successful candidate will manage the implementation of enterprise solutions such as CRM, ERP, and collaboration platforms like Asana, while also handling vendor relations, RFP development, and license renewals. The position blends strong business analysis capabilities with project management skills to ensure timely and successful execution of technology initiatives aligned with Destination Canada's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of enterprise system rollouts (CRM, ERP, Asana).
Develop comprehensive RFPs, project briefs, and Statements of Work.
Conduct business analysis to gather, define, and document cross-functional requirements.
Manage software licensing and vendor evaluations in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, risk assessments, and timelines using Agile/hybrid methodologies.
Prepare governance documentation and deliver senior-level reports and presentations.
Facilitate training, change management, and user adoption of new systems.
Identify and manage interdependencies and risks across teams and technologies.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in project standards and processes.
Ensure compliance with IT roadmaps, risk management frameworks, and audit standards.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
At least 5 years of experience in tech project management and business analysis.
Demonstrated success in implementing enterprise SaaS/cloud solutions (e.g., Office 365, SharePoint, Asana).
Proven record in enterprise-level CRM or ERP system rollout.
Experience with public-sector procurement, RFPs, contract negotiation.
Strong understanding of APIs, system integration, and cybersecurity principles.
Skilled in business analysis tools, process mapping, and technical documentation.
Ability to work independently in a high-paced, matrix environment.
Effective communicator with senior leadership reporting experience.
Familiarity with public-sector procurement and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe).
Experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Knowledge of SDLC and ITIL best practices.
Familiarity with generative AI tools.
French language proficiency is considered an asset.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range: CAD 82,146 – 102,682 annually (CAD 6845 – 8556 monthly)
