Technical Business System Analyst (BSA) | Banking Domain | Downtown Toronto 🚨

We are currently hiring for a Technical Business System Analyst (BSA) role with one of our top-notch Canadian Banking clients.

📍 Location Toronto

📅 Work Model: Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite

🕒 Job Type: Long-Term Contract

💼 Experience Required: 10+

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements (BRD/FSD/FRD)

• Perform process mapping, workflow analysis, and stakeholder management across business, technology, and compliance teams

• Work closely with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders in Agile delivery environments

• Conduct data analysis, validation, and reconciliation across enterprise systems

• Lead UAT planning, test case execution, production validation, and post-production support

• Coordinate with upstream/downstream systems, reporting teams, treasury, and risk teams for seamless integration

• Facilitate JAD sessions, workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and backlog refinement discussions

🔹 Required Skills:

✔ Strong experience as a Technical BSA within Banking/Financial Services

✔ Expertise in SQL including complex joins, unions, aggregations, stored procedures, and data validation

✔ Strong experience with Oracle databases and data lineage analysis

✔ Hands-on experience creating:

  • BRD / FRD / FSD documentation
  • UML diagrams
  • Data Flow Diagrams
  • Source-to-Target mappings
  • Interface specifications
  • Workflow/process models
  • ✔ Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • ✔ Experience supporting UAT, SIT, regression testing, and enterprise releases
  • ✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
