Description:

Randstad Canada, on behalf of a leading industrial manufacturing OEM, is exclusively recruiting a Technical Account Manager to oversee strategic sales operations in Québec City. This role is ideal for a high-performing, technically proficient sales professional who thrives in B2B consultative selling environments and is driven to expand market reach while maintaining long-term client relationships.

As the primary representative of the company within your assigned territory, you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end sales cycles, technical solution development, and relationship cultivation with both new and existing clients across Québec.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management:
    Identify and analyze key accounts across Québec City, assessing their revenue potential and growth trajectory.

  • Business Development:
    Develop and convert new business opportunities while ensuring satisfaction and loyalty of the existing customer base.

  • Technical Presentations:
    Deliver customized, client-centric technical presentations showcasing the company’s automation, instrumentation, and equipment solutions.

  • Proposal & Quotation Management:
    Collaborate with internal engineering and technical teams to create comprehensive, personalized technical proposals and quotations.

  • Client Relationship Management:
    Serve as the primary liaison between the client and internal departments, ensuring clear, timely, and efficient communication.

  • Post-Sales Technical Support:
    Provide high-level technical support post-deployment, assisting clients with system optimization and troubleshooting.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consultative B2B technical sales, preferably in industrial manufacturing, automation, or OEM.

  • DEC in Electrical Engineering or other relevant technical certifications; equivalent experience in related fields will also be considered.

  • Functional English proficiency is required; French language fluency is presumed due to location.

  • Strong CRM skills and comfort with digital sales tools.

  • Proven strengths in negotiation, client presentation, and strategic communication.

  • Highly organized and adept at prioritizing multiple accounts in a competitive environment.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: Starting from CAD $130,000+ annually, dependent on experience
