Technical Account Manager

 

Description:

NORTAC Defence®, a leading provider of tactical communications solutions for military, first responders, and law enforcement agencies, is looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join its team. This role requires a strong background in military, law enforcement, or first responder communications and a passion for delivering cutting-edge tracking and command solutions to defence and government groups worldwide.

As the primary technical point of contact for customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful deployment, integration, and operation of NORTAC Defence®’s solutions.

Responsibilities:

โœ… Customer & Technical Support:

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met

  • Provide technical guidance on NORTAC Defence®’s products, including system integrations

  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and onboarding support

  • Support RFx development and responses, serving as a subject matter expert

โœ… Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with military, civil defence, law enforcement, and first responder agencies globally

  • Gather customer feedback and contribute to product improvements and development

  • Represent NORTAC Defence® at industry events, conferences, and trade shows

โœ… Collaboration & Business Development:

  • Work closely with business development, engineering, and support teams to ensure customer success

  • Travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and provide on-site support

Required Qualifications & Skills:

๐ŸŽ– Military, law enforcement, or first responder communications background
๐Ÿ“ก Experience with satellite communication systems, GPS tracking, and encryption technologies
๐Ÿ—ฃ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders)
๐Ÿ” Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer challenges
๐Ÿ’ผ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business tools
โœˆ Willingness to travel internationally
๐ŸŒ Fluent in English; French is an asset

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

๐Ÿ“ˆ Experience in technical sales or business development in the defence or public safety sector
๐Ÿ“ Knowledge of government procurement processes and RFx submissions
