Team Leader

Description:

Workflow Management

• Monitor and forecast volumes to ensure proper support on life and wealth commissions teams

• Resource with team members to identify focus areas for daily operations

• Handle Commissions inquiries and escalations through to resolution

• Lead and coach existing and new team members

Project Support

• Support inter-department and business partner projects where applicable

• Support reviews conducted by Internal Audit, Compliance and external parties

Working on the Business

• Look for opportunities and help implement improvements to strengthen our operational processes (automation, controls, processes, etc.)

• Promote and execute on the Brighter Way Management System (BWMS)

What do you need to succeed?

• Experience in the insurance industry

• Background of Sun Life Financial Distribution (SLFD)

• Ability to manage changing priorities, excellent organization and leadership skills

• Strong decision making skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
