Description:

Prevost, a division of Volvo Group Canada Inc., is seeking a skilled and motivated 310T Team Lead – Service Technician to join its Mississauga Service Center. This full-time, day-shift position offers the opportunity to play a critical role in overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and upholding high-quality service standards in one of North America’s leading manufacturers of premium intercity touring coaches.

As the Team Lead – Service Technician, you will serve as the bridge between management and technicians, supervising daily repair activities, maintaining shop communication, and ensuring proper documentation of service operations. You will also occasionally participate in hands-on repair and maintenance work, providing guidance and training to junior technicians to promote skill development and quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, assign, monitor, and inspect the work of a team of service technicians.

• Communicate effectively between management, front-end operations, and technicians to ensure clear information flow.

• Review, correct, and approve technicians’ service documentation and repair stories.

• Conduct and train others in the repair and maintenance of buses, coaches, and related heavy-duty vehicles.

• Uphold and promote shop safety standards and service excellence.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Truck and Coach License (310T) or Red Seal Certification is mandatory.

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a mechanical or service environment.

• Strong technical skills in mechanical diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service-oriented attitude.

• Basic computer literacy for work documentation and communication.

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement preferred.
