Enbridge is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead for Records & Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to oversee a skilled team of Records CADD Technicians and coordinate contractual relationships with local and international GIS professionals. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of technical records within Maximo and GIS, which are essential for the safe and efficient management of distribution and transmission assets.

As the Team Lead, you will lead operational activities, maintain positive contractor relationships, oversee quality control, and provide subject matter expertise on record interpretation and software usability. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements, participate in change management initiatives, and enhance records management practices within a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Records CADD Technicians to ensure efficient operations and timely updates in compliance with SLAs.

• Manage contractor relationships including creating statements of work, validating invoices, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality control.

• Review and track quality and timeliness statistics for both internal teams and external contractors.

• Identify and resolve technical record-related issues, support process queries, and provide technical guidance.

• Deliver training and consultation for record interpretation and software use.

• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiencies across departmental teams.

• Assist in implementing change management for new processes and technologies.

Key Skills and Experience Required

• University degree in GIS or related technical field (or equivalent education and experience).

• Proficiency with Maximo, GIS, SAP, and Microsoft Office.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of GDS records, construction and maintenance processes, and capital project planning.

• Familiarity with quality control and acceptance processes in Maximo and GIS.

• Gas Pipeline Inspector qualification preferred.

• Valid Ontario “G” Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.

Working Conditions

• Office environment with minimal travel to Enbridge regions/offices.

• Security screening, including a criminal records check, may be required.
