Deloitte Canada is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Canadian Tax team in a permanent, hybrid role based in Montreal, QC. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for delivering tax services to both private and public clients, managing a wide range of tax compliance and advisory work. This includes preparing and reviewing income tax returns for various entities (companies, partnerships, trusts, individuals), analyzing tax provisions, and drafting tax opinions and technical documentation. You will play an active role in client engagements while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the continuous growth and improvement of the practice.

Deliver tax services to a portfolio of private and public sector clients.
Prepare and review income tax returns for corporations, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
Provide advisory services and support to clients regarding sound tax planning and strategy.
Analyze tax provisions and draft tax opinions and technical documents.
Lead and manage client engagements while coaching and mentoring junior team members.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of Canadian tax laws and practices.
Contribute to internal discussions, innovation, and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Undergraduate degree required; Accounting designation is an asset.
Master’s degree in Taxation or successful completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course.
Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in Canadian tax.
Strong technical understanding of tax laws and their practical applications.
Demonstrated experience with project management, client relations, and team leadership.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
