Tax Litigator

Rosen & Associates Tax Law, a boutique firm specializing in tax dispute resolution, is seeking a Tax Litigator with 5+ years of experience to join its dynamic and growing legal team. The firm represents clients in dealings with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Tax Court of Canada, and Federal Court, serving a diverse clientele from individuals to large corporations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients throughout tax dispute processes, from audit to appeals.

• Represent clients in the Tax Court of Canada and Federal Court.

• Handle federal and provincial tax audits, including preparing objections and written representations to the CRA.

• Manage and grow client relationships effectively.

• Mentor junior associates, articling students, and summer interns.

• Collaborate with legal support staff including paralegals and clerks.

• Coordinate voluntary disclosures and taxpayer relief applications.

Qualifications:

• LL.B. or J.D. degree.

• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).

• Minimum 5 years of post-call experience specifically in tax dispute resolution and litigation at a reputable law firm.
