Tas Senior Associate

RSM Canada, a leading provider of professional services to the middle market globally, is seeking a Senior Associate to join the TAS Digital Innovation & Analytics team. This role focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining digital products, platforms, and solutions that address financial performance, operational metrics, and industry trends. The solutions and platforms you help build will provide valuable insights and recommendations to corporate and private equity clients engaged in complex investment decisions.

As part of the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) group, you will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to support due diligence, financial and operational analysis, extensive data modeling, and data analytics. A key focus initially will be maintaining and expanding the in-house benchmarking platform to provide sector-relevant KPIs and operational benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced data processing, transformations, and analysis for TAS digital initiatives.

• Maintain and enhance an in-house benchmarking database to provide performance insights.

• Identify KPIs and metrics relevant to different industries and align benchmarking with client needs.

• Collaborate with TAS teams and other departments to ensure effective digital solutions.

• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and ethical handling of client data.

• Deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines while improving processes and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in data handling, transformation, and integration.

• Strong expertise in Alteryx, SQL, Stored Procedures, and data warehousing concepts.

• Proficiency with Power BI for data visualization.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, Data Modeling).

• Excellent analytical, communication, project management, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial analysis, consulting, or benchmarking.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Creative and analytical problem-solving approach.

• Willingness to collaborate with international teams, including India-based colleagues.

• Openness to adopting new technologies and tools to improve efficiency.
