PeakTew, an emerging social media startup on a mission to connect more people with the real world, is inviting applications for a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist IX role. This remote, part-time, and unpaid opportunity is perfect for students, early-career professionals, or individuals passionate about human resources and recruitment who are looking to gain international experience in a dynamic, cross-cultural startup environment.

As a member of the globally distributed PeakTew team — comprised of individuals from over a dozen countries — you will be expected to contribute your time and skills voluntarily during your free time, gaining real-world professional exposure. Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Recruitment:
    Manage the full recruitment cycle — from sourcing candidates to onboarding — ensuring a smooth and professional candidate experience.

  • Strategic Collaboration:
    Work closely with leadership to understand current and future hiring needs, build strategic talent pipelines, and contribute to organizational growth.

  • Performance Metrics & Process Optimization:
    Track and analyze recruitment metrics to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness of hiring processes.

  • Team Integration & Onboarding:
    Support and streamline onboarding processes to help new members successfully integrate into the team and PeakTew’s evolving culture.

  • Meeting Participation:
    Attend regular team meetings to align on priorities, address recruitment challenges, and help shape a strong, cohesive team culture.

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Proficient or comfortable communication in English (working language of the organization)

  • Strong interest in or basic experience in HR, talent acquisition, or recruitment

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities; capable of managing multiple priorities independently

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work with both technical and non-technical team members
