Supply Planner

Description:

Spin Master, a global leader in children’s toys, entertainment, and digital gaming, is seeking a Global Supply Planner [Contract] to join its Toronto team. This role reports directly to the Manager, Supply Planning and is responsible for ensuring effective operations and inventory management across product portfolios. The successful candidate will have strong supply chain planning expertise and play a vital role in balancing supply, demand, and inventory across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage inventory plans for assigned products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Coordinate new product launches and phase-out planning in collaboration with Brand Management and Sales teams.

• Prepare Supply Agreement Meeting (SAM) analysis to support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

• Monitor and optimize inventory in terms of levels, lead times, turns, days of supply, and non-performing stock.

• Communicate supply status, including production forecasts, to internal stakeholders and external vendors.

• Collaborate with manufacturing partners and Asia Planning team to minimize excess raw material inventory.

• Partner with Sales teams (domestic and international) to reduce/eliminate excess finished goods inventory.

• Support customer service teams in resolving supply-related issues and proactively manage shortage situations.

• Raise and address potential short- and long-term inventory risks in weekly constraint review meetings.

• Drive multiple cross-functional projects while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an operations or supply planning role.

• Strong knowledge of supply chain and inventory management practices.

• Expertise in Planning, MRP, and SAP systems (preferred).

• CPG sector experience is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
