Supply Chain Analyst

Hexagon Autonomous Solutions is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst. The Supply Chain Analyst supports the Supply Chain team in reporting, analysis, and planning activities that enable efficient operations and informed decision-making. This role provides hands-on experience across procurement, materials planning, and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes, ensuring data accuracy, performance tracking, and continuous supply chain improvement.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations worldwide. This position can be based in Calgary, AB, where we offer hybrid work once training has been completed, or home-based in Guadalajara or Hermosillo, Mexico, or in the US.

Responsibilities

Our Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for:

Data Analysis & Reporting
 

  • Assist in creating and maintaining tools and reports to gather and analyze key supply chain data.
  • Run regular reports to track performance metrics (KPIs) and support management in monitoring supply chain performance.
  • Support cost tracking and sourcing activities by gathering data and performing cost comparison analyses.
     

Demand Planning & Forecasting
 

  • Support monthly S&OP demand planning activities, including data collection, forecast updates, and variance analysis between forecast and actual demand.
  • Analyze product lifecycle, demand trends, and inventory levels to support MRP planning and ensure material availability.
     

Master Data & Systems Management
 

  • Maintain accurate item master data, BOMs, and ERP configurations to ensure reliable planning information.
     

Supplier & Vendor Management
 

  • Monitor supplier performance and assist with escalations or communication between vendors, procurement, and engineering.
     

Process Improvement & Collaboration
 

  • Collaborate with supply chain specialists to identify and implement improvements to tools, reports, and processes.
  • Participate in supply chain improvement projects focused on automation, efficiency, and standardization.
     

Qualifications

Must-Have:
 

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in supply chain, procurement, or planning roles (internship or co-op experience considered).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work with large data sets.
  • Basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems, inventory management concepts, and demand planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, SAP Joule) for scenario planning, executive-ready insights, and rapid decision support in S&OP
  • Hands-on experience using AI-enabled supply chain platforms (such as predictive analytics dashboards, optimization engines, or decision intelligence tools) to support end-to-end demand, supply, and inventory planning
  • Exposure to S&OP, forecasting, or demand planning processes.
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts.
  • Enrollment in or interest in pursuing a professional designation (e.g., SCMP, APICS/CPIM).
