Description:
Bright Can-Achieve is currently seeking a Student Services Manager to join their Vancouver team. This full-time, on-site role requires a dynamic and organized professional who will lead and manage comprehensive services for international students, act as a bridge between students and their academic or personal circles, and guide them through the Canadian education system.
1. Student Management & Guardian Coordination
Oversee daily student services for international students during their stay in Canada
Maintain detailed student profiles; conduct regular interviews and wellness check-ins
Facilitate communication between students, parents, host families, and schools
2. Guardian Team Management
Lead and assign responsibilities within the guardian team
Develop and standardize service procedures
Deliver training and evaluate team performance
Manage special cases and emergencies with discretion
3. Academic & University Application Support
Assist students with academic planning, course selection, and post-secondary applications
Monitor academic progress and arrange tutoring as needed
Provide personalized guidance for academic and personal development
4. School & Partner Relationship Maintenance
Regularly visit partner schools and maintain professional relationships
Attend school meetings and communicate student updates to all stakeholders
Expand partnerships and local educational resource networks
5. Reporting & Parent Communication
Prepare and send regular service and progress reports to parents
Organize parent-student seminars, meetings, and orientation sessions
Provide emergency response and support students' emotional and behavioral well-being
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or International Education
At least 3 years of experience in a relevant field such as international student services or education
Prior team management experience and strong leadership skills
Deep understanding of Canadian high school and university systems
Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
Legally authorized to work in Canada (work permit or permanent resident status required)
RCIC license (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant) is a major asset
Background in psychology or youth counseling is strongly preferred
