This on-site contract role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex structural projects through detailed 3D modeling and the production of high-quality manufacturing drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop discipline-specific 3D models for various phases of structural construction.

• Create accurate and efficient production drawings in line with company standards.

• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve design and integration issues.

• Provide on-site technical guidance during production to ensure fidelity to design intent.

• Apply feedback and lessons learned to improve future design processes and maintain consistency.

• Monitor timelines and deliverables to ensure project goals are met efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or diploma in design or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in structural design within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.

• Strong understanding of structural and production design practices.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills, including technical writing.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities under fast-paced conditions.

Compensation:
CA$38–44 per hour, depending on experience and seniority (monthly equivalent approx. CA$6586–CA$7617).
