Description:
Point Click Care, a leading healthcare technology company in North America, is hiring a Senior Project Manager on a 6-month contract basis. This role is part of the Office of the CIO and is crucial for managing complex, enterprise-level projects within areas such as information management, digital transformation, and data office initiatives. This is a hybrid role based in Mississauga, ON.
As a Sr. Project Manager, you will act as the primary client liaison, taking full ownership of project delivery, accountability, and success. Your core mission will be to lead multi-disciplinary teams in delivering data-centric IT projects while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. You'll oversee project scope, manage cross-functional stakeholders and vendors, and ensure seamless communication and change management across the organization.
Lead strategic enterprise projects using best practices in PMO methodology.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business needs.
Liaise with business units and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
Conduct project planning, risk assessments, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications.
Monitor budgets, milestones, and quality while identifying and mitigating risks.
Manage external vendors and their deliverables as per contracts and SLAs.
Conduct detailed issue tracking and resolution across multiple projects.
Lead meetings with clear objectives and documented outcomes.
Deliver executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Drive collaboration across IT, security, data, and operations teams.
Uphold accountability and transparency at every level of project execution.
5–10 years of hands-on project management experience.
Experience in enterprise information management, data governance, digital transformation, or corporate data office projects.
Knowledge or experience in data quality, metadata, or data migration is a plus.
PMP certification or Agile designation is preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Skilled in managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
Ability to use MS Project, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
Experience with root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
Excellent time management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
