Sr. Application Engineer

Canada Goose, an iconic lifestyle brand renowned for its commitment to quality and purpose-driven innovation, is seeking a Sr. Application Engineer, Order Management Systems to join its Toronto team. This role is pivotal in driving the effectiveness, modernization, and seamless integration of order management systems (OMS) that support both retail and commercial operations.

The successful candidate will take ownership of solution architecture, configuration, development, and maintenance of OMS platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze issues, gather requirements, and implement scalable, innovative, and stable system solutions that enhance the overall customer journey and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution designs, system configurations, and the implementation of order management platforms with a strong focus on D365 Finance & Operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, manage system processes, and optimize architecture.

• Participate in both Agile and Waterfall project environments, ensuring clarity of priorities and execution.

• Document business processes, facilitate training sessions, and ensure material relevancy for all users.

• Ensure SOX compliance and control validations within system processes.

• Address potential system and integration gaps by proposing viable solutions or workarounds.

• Define QA and UAT test scenarios, guide testing procedures, and ensure high-quality deployment.

• Analyze new platform features and contribute to business process modernization and automation.

• Work with analysts and developers to create insightful reports and dashboards.

• Maintain data integrity and consistency across integrated systems and external sources.

Key Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of experience in commercial systems or order management applications.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations.

• Proficiency with Power Platform, Power Automate, and Salesforce is highly preferred.

• Certification in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Functional Consultant or equivalent is a strong asset.

• Other relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-BAP, MSFT, Azure, Cloud) are considered valuable.

• Experience in multiple ERP implementation cycles and headless commerce systems.

• Technical skills in SQL, M Queries, and data visualization/reporting.

• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and IT stakeholders.

• Proven collaboration skills across departments, with strong analytical and leadership capabilities.
