Founded by a dually certified SLP-BCBA, the organization blends clinical expertise with joyful, play-based approaches to make communication development both effective and inspiring.
The clinic is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join its passionate team in Monkton, Ontario. The role offers flexibility, professional growth, and a supportive, family-centered environment where clinicians are encouraged to bring their creativity and unique skills to every session.
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, including articulation, AAC, fluency, advanced language, executive functioning, and feeding.
Develop and implement evidence-informed, play-based therapy plans tailored to each child’s needs and goals.
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary professionals such as behaviour analysts, occupational therapists, and educators to provide holistic care.
Create individualized therapy goals and progress reports, maintaining detailed and compliant clinical documentation.
Engage in ongoing professional learning to expand expertise, including participation in specialized programs such as ultrasound visual biofeedback (UVB).
Participate actively in team meetings, mentorship programs, and case reviews to enhance collective learning and service quality.
Build strong relationships with clients and families, celebrating each milestone with empathy and enthusiasm.
Incorporate creativity, flexibility, and a touch of fun into therapy sessions to make communication learning engaging and meaningful.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Registered with CASLPO (College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario) and in good standing.
Mentoring available for candidates in the Initial Practice Period.
Experience or interest in working with pediatric clients, including those using AAC or with complex communication needs.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuing education, and professional excellence.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with an ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle access.
Hold professional liability insurance and a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
Approved Ontario Autism Program (OAP) provider status is an asset.
Familiarity with behavioural principles, AAC systems, or dual-discipline collaboration is a plus.
